Gotye (pronounced "Gautier"), his birth name Wouter De Backer, born May 21, 1980 in Bruges, is a singer-songwriter and musician Belgian-Australian.
Wouter was born in Belgium in 1980, but moved with his family to Australia at the age of two years.
